We were thrilled to partner with the BBC Studios Natural History Unit on the landmark six-part series, Kingdom. Narrated by Sir David Attenborough, the series follows the intense, Shakespearean-style sagas of four animal families—lions, leopards, hyenas, and wild dogs—as they battle for dominance in Zambia’s spectacular Luangwa Valley.

Filmed over an unprecedented five years, Kingdom demanded a visual language that could match its “Game of Thrones” style drama and epic scale. Our team was responsible for creating the series titles and map graphics of the Luangwa National Park’s landscape.

To help the audience understand and navigate the complex, shifting territories of the Nsefu sector, we developed a suite of bespoke map graphics, which acted as storytelling tools designed to illustrate the constant flow of territorial movement as well as illustrating the seasonal changes and their impact on the four families.
