A multi-sensory journey that combines stunning climatic events on earth, visualised from the eye of the storm, Wetterextreme Bremerhaven provides a fully immersive experience, exploring extreme weather and climate change. The attraction offers a unique blend of education and entertainment, going beyond traditional museum experiences to enhance climate knowledge.
Our proprietary Earth asset, developed over 8 years by our in-house team was a key factor in the award of the contract. Our ability to use real climatic data in the visualisation of our changing planet and make that cinematic was very attractive to the Klimahaus team and further enhanced the authenticity of the project.
Fire effects, stormy seas, hurricanes and flooding all combine over 4 floors in this 15 minute dynamic film that fills the entire experience, utilising a number of moving show programmed curved screens. A motorised 30-seat platform elevates the audience vertically through the building with spacial audio to further enhance the experience.
We seamlessly integrated our compelling VFX capabilities creating digital environments and worlds that help depict Earth’s hostility, immersing the audience in scenes as if they were experiencing these real life events from the point of view of the ground and from the vantage point of Space.
